In this video we look at all the basics you should know before investing in grow lights for your indoor plants.
Especially during the winter months houseplants can really benefit from extra light, but knowing where to start when it comes to grow lights can seem quite daunting if you’re not sure what you’re looking for.
There’s so many choices with grow lights – LEDs, CFL (compact fluorescent lights) and halogen bulb lights. Each have pros and cons and some will be more suited to you than others.
House plants can be grown purely under grow lights, or with a combination of natural light and artificial light. Grow lights can also be used for plant propagations, seedlings and indoor fruit trees.
I realise I made an error and said PFF instead of PPF (I’m a numpty and my dyslexic brain got the better of me). I correct it when it comes to PPFD, but please ignore “PFF” on the second technical term
